The Insights section is where longer-form writing will live on this site. It is designed as a place to explore ideas that sit at the intersection of organisational network analysis, AI strategy, information security, and digital transformation.
Why this section exists
Some questions are too practical for a journal article but too important to leave unexplained. Leaders often want a clearer way to think about influence, trust, collaboration, and AI adoption inside their organisations. This blog makes room for that kind of discussion.
The goal is not only to explain concepts, but also to connect them to real organisational decisions:
- how to identify informal influence networks
- how to recognise AI champions inside teams
- how to interpret network measures without unnecessary jargon
- how to turn research ideas into practical action
What kinds of posts will appear here
Future posts in Insights will focus on both conceptual clarity and practical application. Some articles will explain core ideas such as betweenness centrality, community detection, and organisational network analysis. Others will look more closely at strategy questions, including how organisations can design AI adoption programs and build momentum around new capabilities.
There will also be space for shorter reflections on research, consulting, and teaching. The aim is to keep the writing accessible while still being rigorous enough to help serious readers think more clearly.
A practical orientation
Across all topics, the emphasis will be on usable insight. Rather than treating methods as abstract theory, these posts will ask what a concept helps a reader see, what decisions it can improve, and where its limitations begin.
That practical lens is especially important in areas like AI strategy. Many organisations do not struggle because of a lack of tools. They struggle because support, trust, knowledge flow, and informal leadership are unevenly distributed across the network. Good analysis can make those patterns visible.
What comes next
This first post is simply a marker that the blog is now live. The next articles will start to build out the section with deeper explainers, examples, and applied guidance.
If you are browsing this page locally, the important part is that the publishing workflow is now working: new Markdown posts placed in the content folder can appear automatically in the Insights listing and render as full article pages.
